Topshop’s marketing collateral for the NYC store opening includes many photos of a Jerry Hall like model in a London hotel. The colors are washed to look “Londonish”–or what I think of London to be–the dreary weather washing out the brightness and boldness of colorful prints.

Long barricaded line from Broadway wrapping around the corner onto Broome Street were the throngs of shoppers waiting in line to enter the long anticipated opening of Topshop and Topman.
Topshop handed out cloth totes decorated with fashion celeb faces on opening day.
Not sure when the madness will end–I’m not patient enough to wait in line. Hopefully in a few weeks I can walk right in. For now, I can view Kate’s latest and greatest on Topshop.com.
