Textured leather…

Chado Ralph Rucci flesh toned dress and matching jacket.

Big cat head helps sell kids clothing.

Mary Jane peekabo Louboutins.

Strange flapper exhibit.

Another Herve Leger–they sell like Coach bags.

Hieroglyphic dress.

Leathers.

Carmen San Diego coat.

Got this black linen long shirt with gold piping and gold buttons. This outfit only looks good in my mirror–the mirror is warped, so I look stretched out and thinner. I wanted to preserve this look. In real life, it looks like I’m wearing a black bag with gold dots.

Saw a cool window at Bergdorf’s a few weeks back. A shoe display was setup in a wall to wall, ceiling to floor window display. You could see shoes and a chandelier reflected infinity times…

In the west village today, walking around with my life partner.

We were on Bleeker when we witnessed a woman carrying 2 large containers out of Magnolia Bakery. The containers were filled with cupcakes–3 tiers per container. Throngs of women approached the containers and started munching on the treats.

Quite a scene, along with the long line winding around the cupcake shop. They’re not THAT good. Especially the cake-it’s rather dry and rubbery. I’ve never seen the SATC episode where this bakery was mentioned.
Perhaps I will one day, be compelled to appreciate these cupcakes.

Taking a nice autumn stroll on Bleeker, we passed by a few Ralph Lauren stores decorated for Halloween.

Here is the window for the women’s store–a fairy princess/gypsy…typical girly costume. The props are kinda cool–broken decrepid doll…antique, spooky, shabby chic look…

For the rugged double RL store, windows displayed skeletons wearing RL flannel and sweaters…

Not planning on celebrating Halloween, but if I was, I wouldn’t be picking out a costume at Ralph Lauren.
